Program Description

The Master Program in Privat Law offered by the University of Buraimi seeks to provide a comprehensive background among students, enabling them to possess the necessary knowledge in the field of private law. The program offers the best quality services that meet the requirements of those who want these services in the fields of private law and at an appropriate cost to Omani students as well as those who know Arabic.

Admission Requirements
  • The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in law, or equivalency description from a recognized University (good GPA)

  • Passing the acceptance committee interview.

  • The applicant has a  related bachelor’s degree 

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

  • Passing the acceptance committee interview.

  • Take pre-masters set of courses that consists of 6 disciplines.

  • An applicant should have at least 2 years of experience in related field .

Program Objectives
  •  Develop cadres with in-depth scientific information in the field of private law to contribute to the development of society and the legal community at the regional and international levels.

  • Promoting independent lifelong learning by developing the capacity of a private law master's student to follow the curricula and methods of scientific research and familiarize himself with the latest legal systems

  • Graduate's ability to cope with the challenges posed by scientific developments, in particular information technology and artificial intelligence, in the areas of private law.

  • The student demonstrates knowledge and understanding of new insights in the field of private law.

  • The student applies a wide range of knowledge, skills, concepts and principles of private law.

  • The student compares by using the most appropriate methods and a variety of media between different evidentiary provisions in the field of private law.

  • Think independently and make personal judgments on the subject based on knowledge and evidence. 

  • The applicant effectively reports on complex issues and situations related to bankruptcy procedures.

  • The student communicates and leads the team to manage collective results in difficult situations and effectively with diverse audiences. 

  • The student is involved in generating new knowledge in his field of specialization.
