About the Department

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) at UoB provides facilities to its stakeholders that help them to achieve success and academic excellence. The Center provides both printed and digital resources. The LRC provides instruction and guidance on information literacy skills to develop students’ ability to select, evaluate and use information resources. It trains users to search electronic resources more effectively to develop the student’s self-learning skills and intellectual development for lifelong education. LRC is located on the ground floor of B Building and can accommodate up to 200 students at the same time. Wide study spaces, discussion rooms and computers are available as well.

Director's Message

The Learning Resource Center of the University of Buraimi plays an important role in serving the academic community of the university, students, staff, and the faculty, by providing the LRC with materials that are needed for teaching. It also provides facilities and services to suit the requirements of the curriculum. To achieve this message or goal, LRC seeks to organize and provide the required information, equipment and resources in addition to creating the appropriate environment that helps to research, study, and learn. LRC; furthermore, puts resources and services in the hands of the users and researchers to be as a key element in the performance of the academic message of the university.
