Learning Resource Centre Staff
Learning Resource Centre (LRC) aims to support the University academic programs and meet faculty and students needs pertaining to learning and research through up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of quality services and resources. The Learning Resource Centre is a vital to the academic life of the University. This hybrid dynamic place provides a comprehensive collection of books, journals, databases, and other resources necessary to support teaching and learning at the University. The learning resources collection is developed based on the demand from the colleges and Center of Foundation Studies. LRC is located in the ground floor of B Building. LRC provides its services through an online Library Management System(Liberty) where students and staff can facilitate their request in borrowing, checking the availability of books. The Policies and Procedures are also available online as a guide for all staff and students. LRC is also equipped with computers and Wifi which can be used to access Internet and Online resources (Masader) within and from outside the campus.. Additional rooms for group discussion and special training with computers and a projector available can be reserved by faculty members and group students. The LRC uses the library of Congress Classification Scheme. To support use of its resources, the LRC conducts information literacy sessions and alerts faculty and students of latest arrivals and user guides through Digital TV Network.
