One of the University's objectives is to “Equip and Retain Productive Staff”, which emphasizes the fundamental need to invest in human and other related resources to enhance the skills and performance of the university community members. This investment creates a conducive organizational environment that ultimately contributes to the overall development of the University and its community.
To that end, the Human Resources Department carries out the following key functions:
Recruit professional, competent, and expert employees.
Provide training and resources for self and professional development to enhance competencies.
Retain valuable employees by implementing transparent, unbiased, and fair reward and recognition systems.
Create and maintain a healthy and satisfying organizational and work culture.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of Omanization.
