University of Buraimi Organizes “Heart Rescuer Campaign” to Promote Health Awareness

As part of its commitment to promoting health awareness among students and the university community, the Student Affairs Department at the University of Buraimi, in collaboration with the National Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery, organized an awareness event titled “Heart Rescuer Campaign” on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Mazoon Hall on campus.

The campaign aimed to introduce students, faculty, and staff to the importance of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), in addition to equipping them with practical skills that can help save lives in emergency situations.

The Student Affairs Department emphasized that this initiative is part of its strategy to foster a culture of health awareness and social responsibility, and to prepare students to be active contributors to their community. The department further highlighted that acquiring first aid skills has become a vital necessity that can make a life-saving difference.
